Britta and Gary had decided to get married on 9th June, 2007 - so all family, friends etc... had to congregate in Taunton at the appointed day/hour!!

I zoomed over a couple of weeks before the event (Janet couldn't make it as she was just finishing a London/Paris/Venice/Rome trip with her kiddie-winks) and went to stay with Brian and Vonnie in their lovely new house...

Zero-maintenance back-garden and the house is on 3 floors - sorry about the resolution on the roof....

Thanks for the nice stay B & V and your kiddie-winks too - good to see they're all doing so well!!

And then I was off to Taunton - where the Germans had started arriving. Some drinks and chatting then we were off out exploring the nearby countryside - Dunster....

Britta's back garden, bursting with flowers and growth - lovely!! Then we were off to Peart Hall where the reception was to be held - had to get all the gear over there and installed...

But..... no time for exploring... there's work to be done.....

They were giggling and laughing throughout....

Right up to the point where they had to complete the various documents/forms.....

Many thanks to Joan and Jenni Brown for donating their home (Peart Hall) to Brittsy and Gary and their hangers-on - its a beautiful place and with all the lovely food you provided I'm sure I speak for all attendees - you did us really proud and I hope the future holds nothing but pleasant surprises for you both!!

You'll be pleased to know.... this is a shot of the balloons that were released earlier - they are right in the middle of the grey/white sky - but at this resolution you cannot see them (good piccie hey??) If you save the image then blow it up - you get to see the balloons!! Where are they now??

Then it was the cutting of the cake... Gary's mum (Dottie) made the cake - delicious.. Jenni looking on - but not drinking!!

Getting late......

We then boogied the night away - initially out under the moon and alas annoying the neighbours - sorry.....

and then we went inside...

....late to bed!!

Next morning we cleared up and bid farewell to Joan and Jenni... returning to Britta and Gary's place, where, the kids (and Michael) could initially play in the street..

until grub was up - that is...
