Florian and Matthias (more piccies here) visited Singapore for a couple of days, on their way back to Germland, after a 4 week holiday (more piccies here) in New Zealand.
These are some photos I took whilst we were sight-seeing Singapore:
Firstly - the Merlion with a bit of the Business district behind the Fullerton Hotel (used to be the General Post Office)
Then a walk across Raffles Quay/Nicoll Highway bridge with views towards the Esplanade - Concert Halls, Suntec City and lots of hotels.
To Raffles Hotel with a view from outside Raffles, back towards the business district.
And these were taken a few days before all that - from our flat, looking south towards Batam, the ships moored waiting to get into Port, just about to get a battering from an approaching storm.
