It was family skiing time again!!

Brittsy and Ingy wanted Claire Millar (Millar girl) to come-with - so Janet and I wanted Ralphie and Rowena to come-with too!!

I zoomed across from Hong Kong (I think I went on business to Frankfurt first of all) then flew into London rented a car - and searched out a hotel down near Gatport-Airwick where we could all meet up. I just let the car find the hotel - which was very grand - but I think a bit too costly, and out in the country. I think Janet, Rowena and Ralph flew into Heathrow from Hong Kong and made their way down to Gatport and we spent a day or so waiting for the grills to assemble. We went off to the sea-side.....

But we tough'ed it out!!

The three grill assembled. I think Inga arrived very late on - we were in a restaurant getting well merry waiting for her - and after that we all went back to the hotel - where they didn't want to have the 3 grills sleeping in a double-room - so we paid extra and got an extra room - it was late to bed and a very early start the next day.

I remember being on the coach from Geneva going to Verbier - and it started snowing..... first time Rowena had seen snow - luckily the coach stopped and she was able to go out and play!!

We'd booked a chalet-catering holiday - the house/chalet being very pleasant and on a bus route...

This is Janet and Rowena playing in the snow again - with Ralph photo'ing them from the entrance to the chalet. Plenty of snow!!

We hardly saw the grills.... they were late up, usually trying to snowboard, back at the chalet for tea and dinner but then off out disco'ing until the early hours....

This was one of the rare times we saw the grills - Brittsy!
