During some of this period - I didn't have a camera - so the following trips were not consummated with piccies...

| 31st January, 1995 - Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia - shame - we drove all over the island |
But then 16th September we were off and documenting (well a little bit) again....
Britta and Inga were backpacking through Asia and had ended up in Thailand on the island of Koh Pah Ngan. Janet and I booked into the Baan Taling Ngam hotel (great hotel - go there!!) on Koh Samui (the next island). Flew in (delayed) - jumped in the courtesy bus that took holidaymakers to their hotels - up and down Chaweng beach and all of a sudden we were the last two on the bus - it went on for some time - across the island came to a small hill - climbed up - and there was (in those days it was a Mandarin Oriental Hotel) the hotel spread over a cliff, cascading down to the sea - fabulous. We were greeted - and then - there were the kiddie-winks - they'd been well entertained in our absence - and after back-packing had quite enjoyed the food/drinks and atmosphere of such a lovely hotel.
We didn't do much (small island - not much to see) generally hung around the beach, bar and pool - excellent!! The kids were booked into a backpackers grotty place at the foot of our hill/hotel - keep the riff-raff out I say....

The kiddie-winks booked out of
their crap-place and asked if they could sleep on our veranda for 1 night - no
problemo!! Excelpt that - it got very cold apparently - and they had to come
indoors - this is Brittsy - still trying to get warm in our bed!!

We flew back to Hong Kong -
the kiddie-winks went back to Koh Pha Ngam and its "delights", and from there
.... I know not where...
