I'd had to resign from my little house/rondhavel in Illovo because they were only rented out to bachelors. So on our return from Europe we went back into the Augustus again - for just one month, whilst we found somewhere else.
That turned out to be a little cottage in the grounds of a larger house in Sandton.
Fred and I had always liked a little restaurant (Cafe Mozart) on Corlett Drive near Melrose North. Franco and his wife owned it and they had invested in a much bigger sort of "Country Club" somewhere in Bryanston... so we had to go visit....
Before the off..
I think the club was
called something like King Henry the 8th..
