Since we arrived in
Singapore (2001) - I go cycling quite a
bit - and one of my routes parallels a couple of holes of a local golf course.
For months I never
bothered - then I decided that finding lost balls would add a bit of enjoyment -
also pushing in low-gear through 2 Kms of thick grass would add to the exercise.
Average find is 3 or 4
balls per cycling day (I don't go everyday).
Best was 12 - and
worst is Zero (happens quite a lot).
Update...update... - 30/12/2002 - found 14 today!!
Ignore all that!!
....Today 04/01/2003 - was THE Day...21 balls found -
is the "Golf Ball Count" moving in unison with "Stock Exchange Indices" - maybe
there's a correlation - more on this idea soon.....
AND NOW (28/01/2003) we've surpassed ourselves - 23
balls found!!
To date (end December
2002) - I've found 190+ golf balls - now the problem is to find something to do
with them - I don't play!! Any ideas??
This was "the pile"
early March, 2003 - 411 balls....
