Throughout your life you will want to own many things. The large ones shouldn?t be owned ? they should be rented.
All the day to day possessions (clothes, food, books,etc..) can be bought (if you really have to ? but keep the volume low ? down to say 2 or 3 suitcases).
But the big things ? House, Car, Boat, Furniture etc, should be rented.
Generally you will want/need to change them every few years, and usually their value will have decreased. This may not always be the case with a house (sometimes though), nor might it be the case with some unusual boat, car or antique furniture ? but generally, when it comes time to change ? the price is down.
