We'd gone to Manila around 14th December and were trying to get Janet's new flat (at Fort Bonifacio) ready for renting. By Christmas we were 90% there - visited Joe and Nena for Christmas lunch and on 26th we (Janet, Marga and me) flew to Tagbilaran on Bohol island and were driven to Linaw Beach Resort. Very small (maybe only 10 rooms) (doubling in size under construction), but a very wide menu and very quiet/peaceful.

Swimming in the sea was not on - very shallow and piles of seaweed, but from where we were - it looked fine!!

We were in the top-left balcony/bedroom.. all meals were eaten around the pool under the thatched roof billie-do's.

We had a special BBQ dinner right out on the beach -

Some exploring... Marga took about 10 pictures of Janet and me here - what she was trying to capture was (not us) - but the Swallows/Swifts that lived in the caves (see below) and were flying in their hundreds in and out of a hole surrounded by the turquoises fencing - she did get a couple of blurrs...

And then we went to Mag-Aso falls... as you can see by the number of photies - we were impressed..

We left the river still flowing - a good place!!

We went snorkeling off Balicasag Island one day - enjoyable ride across to the island and lovely fish/corals etc..
